I am seeking representation to assist me in bringing them to life.
The Book Band
As Prosemont’s banned library books transform their silenced stories into song, a bold board book seeks the right note to resonate with the mayor, hoping to change his tune and lift the bans before the town falls into discord. THE BOOK BAND is a lyrical and timely story that highlights the power of diverse stories to foster unity and strengthen communities in times of struggle.
Wazza: Not Your Regular Retriever
Many Golden Retrievers love to retrieve, but Wazza feels ashamed that fetching doesn’t come naturally to him. Can a nose-blind Basset Hound and a group of diverse dogs defying their breeds’ expectations save Wazza from embarking on an existential journey of doubt and insecurity? This heartwarming 'tail' invites readers to consider how stereotypes impact those who don’t fit the mold and how embracing individuality paves the way for fulfillment and joy.
Creature Comforts: An Almost-Bedtime Story
What if finding cryptids was easy, but putting them to bed was the real challenge? A young storyteller discovers that the biggest nightmare isn’t under the bed but rather keeping the monsters in it. CREATURE COMFORTS is a wild, whimsical romp in which mythical creatures reveal themselves to be legendary bedtime procrastinators. From the Kelpies’ must-have lullaby clashing with the Jersey Devil’s raucous fiddle to Phoenix and Yeti getting heated over the thermostat, the monsters’ conflicting requests are a mix of mayhem, mischief, and relatability. Even the creepiest creatures are softies when it’s time to sleep. As the antics pile up, it’s clear the biggest staller isn’t a cryptid at all, it’s the narrator him/herself, illustrating a tall tale to delay their own trip to bed.

The Tiny Scientist's Guide to Cause & Effect
After seeing a publisher's call for board books on STEAM topics, I was inspired to create a movable board book about cause & effect. In this book, the reader can move something on the first page of each spread and see what the effect that they caused on the second page of the spread. From causing a popsicle to melt in the heat, to pushing buttons to program a robot, to pouring vinegar into a jar of baking soda, the reader will explore concepts of STEAM that can be observed at home! They'll walk away with the realization that science is everywhere, and even the youngest among us can be tiny scientists--it's as simple as finding examples of cause and effect! A fun fact: Jasper "helped" a lot with this project, so he's included in the illustrations on every spread.

It Sucks Being Me
Pests, animals, and kids alike tend to loathe the vacuum–it’s loud and makes things disappear. But imagine how your vacuum feels when everyone flees the moment it enters a room! This funny and warm read-aloud will “spin” your opinion of Vinny, one grumbling vacuum and have you cheering for him in the end!
Jasper & Wazza
My first manuscript is based on the true story of the time I introduced my cat to my now-husband's dog. Both fiercely loyal to their respective owners, it was a bit of an adjustment for everyone. Now, they have been happily living together for 9 years. I envision this to be the first in a series about our two pets, as I have lots of stories about them!
More to Come...
I have many ideas for future projects, including sequels to Jasper & Wazza. I am hoping for an opportunity to publish them into a series. For now, enjoy some photos of the two of them hanging out.
